Buitoni Cannelloni

Once again we had a meal from Target.  We just had a second Target open up in our city and this one has a larger grocery section.  I love that I only have to go shopping at one store on the weekend.  Such a timer saver :)

I am fairly certain I had a coupon for the Buitoni and the Green Giant green beans were on sale.  Another dinner under $10!

Meal from Target

Ok, so, I am not a huge fan of cooking. I really just don't have a lot of time.  I made this entire dinner on whim and everything was from my local target store! I got the recipe on the back of the frozen chicken bag. 

It seemed like stuff I already had in my cupboards so I gave it a go.

Chicken came already seasoned so I just put it on a pan and threw it in the oven. Made the sauce (only 3 ingredients) while the chicken was cooking.  The whole meal could not of cost more than $10!

All this while entertaining my 3 little ones :)

It wasn't so bad I might just try it again.

Pizza for Breakfast

I received a Sample of the Eggo Real Fruit Pizza on Monday from the Foodbuzz Tastemaker program. I am home from work today with my 3 lovelies and decided to make this for a breakfast treat. My 21 month old could not get enough of it and my 6 1/2 year old thought it was funny we were having pizza for breakfast :)  It was quite good and we can't wait to try the Mixed Berry!

Ingredients

• 2 pounds ground beef
• 2 cups diced onions
• 2 (15 1/2-ounce) cans pinto beans
• 1 (15 1/2-ounce) can pink kidney beans
• 1 (15 1/4-ounce) can whole kernel corn, drained
• 1 (14 1/2-ounce) can Mexican-style stewed tomatoes
• 1 (14 1/2-ounce) can diced tomatoes
• 1 (14 1/2-ounce) can tomatoes with chiles
• 2 (4 1/2-ounce) cans diced green chiles
• 1 (4.6-ounce) can black olives, drained and sliced, optional
• 1/2 cup green olives, sliced, optional
• 1 (1 1/4-ounce) package taco seasoning mix
• 1 (1-ounce) package ranch salad dressing mix
• Corn chips, for serving
• Sour cream, for garnish
• Avocado
• Grated cheese, for garnish
• Chopped green onions, for garnish
• Pickled jalapenos, for garnish

Directions

Brown the ground beef and onions in a large skillet; drain the excess fat, then transfer the browned beef and onions to a large slow cooker or a stockpot. Add the beans, corn, tomatoes, green chiles, black olives, green olives, taco seasoning, and ranch dressing mix, and cook in a slow cooker on low for 6 to 8 hours or simmer over low heat for about 1 hour in a pot on the stove. To serve, place a few corn chips in each bowl and ladle soup over them. Top with sour cream, cheese, green onions, avocado or jalapenos.

Newman's Own

I was lucky enough to receive an assortment of Newman's Own products.  I am so excited to try all of them.  I think the only one I have had is the balsamic vinaigrette dressing and it is fabulous.  I am thinking this will motivate me to start posting again ;)  With baby #3 on the way it is hard...
